SEEKONK, Mass. — The first two races out on Fast Friday ended with a first-time winner this week, including the Sport 4 division. In a race that went 25 laps without a caution, Daniel Hayes was on top for the first time in his career. Hayes jumped out from the outside pole position and drove away from the field over the stretch of the race to park in Victory Lane for the first time in his racing career.

Season points leader Richie Johnson followed to the line in second, making a last-lap move to nail down the runner-up spot. Jacob Budznya continued his string of success with a strong third, while Samantha Sleboda charged from starting last up to finish fourth. Christine Cavallaro followed in fifth.

Josh Switzer, James Sullivan, Joe Mello Sr., Arthur Meack and Hannah Arsenault finished the field.

The Sport 4 division will return to the track on Friday, July 25. For more information and for tickets for upcoming events, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
