The Solomito name has long been known for success in short-track racing in the Northeast, specifically in the New York area at Riverhead Raceway. In 2025, the name was further etched into the history of short-track racing, this time in Massachusetts, as Landon Solomito had a breakout year in the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandit division.
Solomito captured his first career win on June 20, one of seven victories in the season. On the final night of the race campaign, Solomito bested three other top contenders to win the track championship in the Sunoco Drive For The Cup. His incredible season included a total of 12 top-five finishes in 14 races.
Landon became a champion in Seekonk Speedway’s historic 80th season of short-track racing.
“I want to thank my mom, my dad, my brother, my sister, everyone,” Solomito said.
As Seekonk’s youngest division, the Bandits continued to showcase incredible drivers getting their feet wet, preparing for the next steps in their racing career.
Seekonk Speedway congratulates London Solomito and his entire team on capturing the 2025 Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Bandit division championship.

What an exciting post about Landon Solomito’s victory! It's always inspiring to see someone achieve their dreams in racing, especially at a venue like Seekonk Speedway. It reminds me of the thrill I get from playing FNAF, where each level feels like a new challenge waiting to be conquered. Just like in racing, it’s all about strategy and facing fears head-on. Thanks for sharing this amazing moment—it really brings the community together!
