SEEKONK, Mass. — Mike Brightman was back on top in the Pro Stocks on Saturday night at Seekonk Speedway in a memorial race remembering Tom and Deb Scully..
Brightman jumped out front from the outside pole position and led the entire distance to take down his first win of the season. After a trying year, filled with many frustrations, Brightman put them all behind him Saturday evening.
Dave Darling chased him down over the final laps, but had to settle for the runner-up spot. Jacob Burns, off his Late Model win in the same night, finished third. Vinnie Arrenegado and Bobby Pelland III finished the top-five.
Dylan Estrella, Nick Lascuola, Andrew Gomes, Mark Jenison and Kenny Spencer rounded out the top-10.
The Pro Stocks will be back on the track for the final race of the regular season on Saturday, August 23. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media.
