What’s New for 2025? This year, we’re excited to introduce the Crown Vic Cruisers to the Thrill Show lineup! These crowd-favorite vehicles are taking the place of the Powder Puff race on the schedule, and we can’t wait to see them hit the track with their high-energy, door-banging antics. The Crown Vic Cruisers are sure to bring a whole new level of excitement to the show and keep fans on the edge of their seats. The Thrill Show Lineup: Here’s what you can look forward to at Seekonk Speedway’s action-packed Thrill Shows:
The decision to remove the Powder Puff races from the 2025 schedule was a difficult one and not taken lightly, and it was purely a business decision driven by the need to evolve and adapt to changes in the racing landscape. Over the last 15 years, the Powder Puff races have come and gone, sometimes being held once a year, other times 3-5 times annually. As much as we value the tradition they brought to Seekonk Speedway, not all events maintain their popularity or continue to generate the same excitement over time. With the introduction of the Crown Vic Cruiser division this year, we had to make some tough choices in order to keep our Thrill Show schedule fresh and engaging for our fans. Our goal is always to provide race fans with the most exciting, competitive, and memorable events possible, and to do that, we must prioritize divisions that draw the most interest and participation. Unfortunately, this meant that the Powder Puff races didn’t fit into the 2025 schedule. While we won’t be holding the Powder Puff races this season, we remain open to the possibility of bringing them back in the future, depending on the success of the new Crown Vic Cruiser division and fan feedback. Our commitment at Seekonk Speedway is to continue providing opportunities for both men and women to compete, and we are proud to have over 20 female drivers currently racing in our weekly divisions. Many others have excelled in other events like Spectator Drags and Thrill Shows Endoro events, with several even earning NASCAR race wins and Track championships. We truly hope that the women who enjoyed racing in the Powder Puff events will continue to find new ways to race, whether through Enduros or perhaps even the Crown Vic Cruisers. We value all of our drivers and are always looking for ways to provide exciting opportunities for everyone at the track. Looking Ahead We’re counting down the days until the first Thrill Show of 2025. From the roar of the engines to the cheers of the crowd, there’s nothing quite like the Seekonk Speedway experience. Whether you’re a lifelong fan or a first-time visitor, our world-famous Thrill Shows offer something for everyone.

It’s still ridiculous to take away the woman’s racing category, they deserve a fair chance to prove themselves, it shouldn’t be about money it should be about FUN!!!

This is awful! We had a group of 30 people each race that would go just to watch my family in the powder puff race .

I have been racing the Powder Puffs for almost three years and was so excited to be doing it for a fourth year. My children enjoy watching their mom out their competiting and it’s such a shame that out of everything the only all FEMALE race is the one to be cut. Some women won’t race with men and now you took the only opportunity they had to race. This has truly upset tons of drivers and fans.

Forgot to mention the message it sends. That us women and the powder puff division isn’t as important as the men. Such a shame!

This response only makes you look worse!! You’re blaming fans and money??? Men are absolutely ruthless and young lady’s don’t wanna be rammed into a wall by a man twice their age. Powder puffs gave them a chance to live their dream with some respect from their competitors!

This is such a half assed response to everyone. Blaming the fans and money for cutting the FEMALE ONLY division? When the fans LOVE watching the woman race ? You took away my only chance at racing this year because I refuse to race with the men who deliberately crash into the woman and are so aggressive that we are scared to race with them. I hope you realize how devastated us woman are by your action. I’m truly sad.
