SEEKONK, Mass. — Two drivers, not one, were celebrating after the Sport 4 race on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway. Former division champion Dave Westgate finished first in the 30-lap Everett’s Triple Crown Series finale, returning to the top spot in the division for the first time in many years. While Westgate had the checkered flag, Justin Leduc finished in the second spot after 30 laps, but was also celebrating. Leduc captured the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series title in the Sport 4's. The driver of the No. 02 outlasted three other contenders to capture the trophy in the special three-race series. In the race on Friday night, Crystal Murray rounded out the podium in third, with Richie Johnson and Matt Pion finishing out the top-five. Tyler Duhancik, Henry Lavallee, Sam Mattera, Mikey LeFort III and Daniel Hayes finished the top-10. The Sport 4’s will return to the track on Friday, August 23, for another 25-lap feature.
