SILVIA ROCKETS TO FIRST PLAYOFF RACE WIN IN LEGENDS

SEEKONK, Mass. — Seekonk Speedway Sunoco Drive For The Cup contender Chase Silvia wasted little time jumping out front on Friday night in the Nick's Pit Stop Legends Cars. In the first playoff event, Silvia used a three-wide move around the outside early to charge forward, took the lead, and never looked back. Silvia held off a hard-charging group of fellow playoff contenders to score his second win of the season.


Brenden LaBelle tried to get around, but had to settle for second. Mason Tessier was third, with Richie Helger Jr. in fourth. The top-four were all playoff cars, with Ryan Vanasse Jr. rounding out the top-five in fifth. Rodney Dowless Jr., Kevin Novak, Josh Parsons (playoffs), Jacob Burns (playoffs) and Kevin Davis finished the top-10. 


At the end of the first playoff race, Silvia, LaBelle, Tessier and Burns hold the Final Four spots.
