SEEKONK, Mass. — Pro All Star Series veteran DJ Shaw found himself dominating the second half of Saturday’s 150-lap event at Seekonk Speedway. Shaw rode behind David Darling early in the Bay State Summer Classic event, but a restart gave him the opportunity he needed to get out front. Shaw used the outside groove to rocket to the top spot and literally drive away from the rest of the field to score the big win. The $5,000 top prize came with him defeating Eddie MacDonald and Darling in the race. Ryan Kuhn, a former Seekonk Late Model champion, finished fourth, while Craig Weinstein rounded out the top-five. Johnny Clark, Joey Doiron, Dylan Estrella, Angelo Belsito and Dennis Spencer rounded out the top-10.
