SEEKONK, Mass. — Charlie Rose is on a roll in the Late Models at Seekonk Speedway. Rose started deep in the field in the finale of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series, after winning the week before, but it didn’t matter much. Rose sliced his way through the pack, drove by three-wide for the lead, then checked out. It was the second straight victory in the Late Models for the seasoned veteran. While Rose won, Connor Souza captured the second-place position after 45 laps, good enough to clinch him the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series championship. Souza fought hard throughout the race and came away with the Triple Crown title to show for it. Andrew Gomes, a Rookie of the Year contender, finished third. Bobby Pellland III and Chase Belcher followed in fourth and fifth. Behind them, Jacob Burns, Richie Murray, Ryan Souliere, Luke Lebrun and Brittany Campbell finished off the top-10. The Late Models will be back on the track on Saturday, August 17, for another 30-lap feature.
