SEEKONK, Mass. — Adam Pettey has put together a clean sweep of the first two rounds of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series at Seekonk Speedway. Pettey rocketed from deep in the field to the front to win the 35-lap Helger’s Sportsman feature on Saturday - marking his third consecutive win in the Sportsman. Winning one race in the Sportsman division is tough - but three in a row is something else! In a rough and tumble extra-distance race, Pettey and Colby Lambert battled hard for the lead in the second half, swapping the top spot back and forth multiple times. Pettey held on for the win, with Lambert in second and Tyler Almeida coming through the field to finish well. Joe Kolher, Jeremy Lambert, Rob Kohler, Crystal Serydynski, Josh Hedges, Randy Moretti and Gerry DeGasparre Jr. all crossed the line with solid runs as well. The Helger’s Sportsman will be back on the track on Saturday, July 20.
