SEEKONK, Mass. — A late move for the win gave Adam Pettey his second consecutive Seekonk Speedway win on Saturday night in the Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Sportsman. Petty charged through the pack from deep in the field and in the final laps, found his way around Randy Moretti to score the feature win. After a tough first week, Pettey has rebounded with tons of winning speed. Moretti settled for second, hoping for one spot better after leading many laps. They were followed two the line by early race leader Jimmy “Pepe” Silvia, who came out with a strong finish in third. Behind them, Scott Serydynski Jr and Ed Perry finished the top-five after 25 laps. Colby Lambert, Joe Kohler, Gerry DeGasparre Jr., Josh Hedges and Nick Brightman finished in the top-10. The Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Sportsman will be back on track on Saturday, June 22, for another 25-lap feature.
