SEEKONK, Mass. — Danny Massa may not have had the finish in the first Sunoco Drive For The Cup event that he wanted at Seekonk Speedway, but he found himself rebounding in a big way in race two on Friday night. In the Helger’s Pure Stocks, Massa took advantage of two leaders getting together ahead of him, took the top spot, then drove away into the night to capture another feature win on his 2024 season. With the win, Massa also boosted himself into a current Final Four spot with just one race remaining before the Final Four is decided on Fast Friday. Brent Robidoux finished second, another strong run for him in his bid to make the playoff Final Four in his Rookie campaign in the Pure Stocks. Mike Henriques charged from 13th to 3rd, finishing on the podium and solidifying his spot as the driver tied with Robidoux for the playoff points lead. Matthew Talbot, the winner from the week before, and Ethan Souza (playoff driver) finished the top-five. Jared Cordeira, Greg Perry, Bobby Bettencourt III, Michael Marcou and Alice Benoit rounded out the top-10. The Sunoco Drive For The Cup continues for the Helger’s Pure Stocks with the third of four events on Friday, September 20, at 7 p.m. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest news and updates.
