SEEKONK, Mass. — In search of his third straight Chaz’s Auto Body Sport Truck title, Radical Rick Martin is off to a strong start at Seekonk Speedway. Martin was the highest finishing Sunoco Drive For The Cup contender in race one, finishing second, then followed it up on Saturday night by rolling to Victory Lane in the 25-lap Truck feature. Adding yet another win to his impressive Seekonk Speedway total, Martin locked himself into the Final Four based on playoff points, and will race for that third straight crown on championship night. In the feature, Mike Cavallaro charged all the way from the back of the field to finish second, a run good enough to give him a chance to make the Final Four next week. Jake Vanada, Mike Duarte and Jeff Belyea rounded out the top-five. They were followed by Dane Saritelli, Darryl Church, Lenny Guy, DJ Thibeault and Marissa Morgan. Unofficially, the current Final Four drivers in the Sport Trucks would be: Rick Martin, Mike Duarte, Jake Vanada and Tim Bolger Jr. The Sunoco Drive For The Cup continues for the Chaz’s Sport Trucks with the third of four events on Saturday, September 21, at 6 p.m. For more information on Seekonk Speedway, visit SeekonkSpeedway.com and follow the track on social media for the latest news and updates.
