SEEKONK, Mass. — The NEMA Midgets and NEMA Lites are known for wings, quick times and high speed excitement. Saturday night at Seekonk Speedway, all of those came together into one for the annual Boston Louie Seymour Memorial Classic events. Both divisions were on hand - the Lites for 50 laps - and the NEMA Midgets for 29. The Lites race took just 10 minutes to complete and so did the NEMA feature. At the end of it all, Avery Stoehr (NEMA) and Chase Locke (Lites) were celebrating in Victory Lane. Locke won the 50-lap Lite feature in dominating fashion, leading all of the laps. He bested Todd Bertrand, Jake Trainor, PJ Stergios and Paul Scally to take down the big win. In the NEMA Midgets, Stoehr also led all of the laps. Paul Scally chased him to the line in second, marking two top-fives in the same night for him. John Zych, Randy Cabral and Matt O’Brien followed in third through fifth. Seekonk Speedway wishes to thank Bobby Seymour and his entire team for their efforts to make the event possible.
