SEEKONK, Mass. -- Luke Lebrun picked the perfect time to have the best car of his 2024 season. In the season-finale for the Late Models on Saturday night. Lebrun charged through the field to take the lead and pick up another win on the season. Along with his victory, Lebrun celebrated the Late Model track championship. Now a two-time Seekonk Speedway champion, once in the Legends Cars, Lebrun captured the checkered flag after passing Andrew Gomes for the top spot in the 40-lap race. Gomes, a Rookie of the Year contender going into the season who accomplished his goal and will be the top rookie, finished second in the final race of the season. Final Four contenders Jacob Burns, Chase Belcher and Charlie Rose followed to finish in the top-five. Richie Murray, Bobby Pelland III, Mark Jenison, Jarrod Freitas and Rey Lovelace rounded out the top-10. The Late Model season is now complete.
