SEEKONK, Mass. - Colby Lambert has been consistent all season in the Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Sportsman, but as of Saturday night, hadn’t been to Victory Lane. That all changed in the 25-lap feature on Saturday, as Lambert was credited with victory after the main event. Jeremy Lambert, Doug Benoit and Colby Lambert battled hard to the finish of the feature. Jeremy came out on top on the track, holding off his brother and Benoit to the finish line. However, after post-race tech, Jeremy Lambert was determined to have not passed inspection. That means second-place finisher Colby Lambert was credited with the feature win, his first of the year. Benoit finished second, with Tyler Almeida third, Ed Perry fourth and Adam Pettey rounding out the top-five. Jimmy “Pepe” Silvia was next, with Gerry DeGasparre Jr, Scott Serydynski Jr, Joe Kohler and Josh Hedges rounding out the top-10. The Helger’s Sportsman will return to the track on Saturday, August 24, for another 25-lap feature.
