SEEKONK, Mass. — For the first time in more than a decade, Jimmy “Pepe” Silvia was back in Victory Lane on Saturday night at Seekonk Speedway. Silvia used the third, and fourth groove - in only his style - to work the top around just about everyone who tried to challenge him during the 25-lap feature in the Helger's Sportsman. Surely exciting for the fans, Silvia made it all work. He held off a hard charge from Colby Lambert to rocket his familiar entry back to the winner’s circle. Colby Lambert chased his way through the back and came with a strong second-place finish, while Joe Kohler followed in third. Steve Axon and previous week’s winner Gerry DeGasparre Jr. rounded out the top-five. Josh Hedges, Ed Perry, Jeremy Lambert, Tyler Almeida and Nick Wood finished the top-10. The Helger’s Sportsman will be back on the track on Saturday, August 10, for the finale of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series.
