The four drivers who will compete for the Helger’s Pure Stock track championship have all earned their spots in the Final Four. Brent Robidoux, Mike Henriques, Ethan Souza and Danny Massa will all battle for the crown in this division. Robidoux leads the overall season point standings, coming off an impressive season that will earn him the Rookie of the Year award. One year after moving up from the Bandolero class, Robidoux has been to Victory Lane and been consistently near the front of the field in his debut year. Henriques has similarly been consistent up at the front all year. Although he only has one victory, Henriques has been top-five often and around the front of the field. He’s never won a championship, but is certainly one of the more polished veterans in the division. Ethan Souza has quietly put together a consistent season himself. In the last nine races, Souza hasn’t finished outside the top-five. He has one victory on the season, showing he can lead the class. If he wants to win the title, he may have to lead the class again. And the final of the contenders is Danny Massa. Another polished veteran of the division, Massa had a tough start, but has turned it around in a big way. In his last seven events, Massa has two victories and four podium runs to go along with them. His experience should help him be in contention to capture the crown. The Final Four championship event for the Helger’s Pure Stock division will take place on D.A.V. Championship weekend on Friday, September 27. Racing begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are available online at SeekonkSpeedway.com.
