SEEKONK, Mass. — Greg Perry was the man to beat for most of Friday’s Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stock feature at Seekonk Speedway. Perry started from the outside of the front row and got to the lead quickly. He may have won the 25-lap feature, and it may have seemed easy to those who didn’t watch. But the task wasn’t easy. Perry held off a hard-charge from Brent Robidoux in the final few laps to get to Victory Lane. Robidoux, a Rookie of the Year contender, already has two wins this year. Peter Bleau followed them to the line to finish in third, his best career finish. Ethan Souza and Mike Henriques followed in fourth and fifth. Bobby Bettencourt III, Michael Marcou, Alice Benoit and Tim Ouellette followed. The Helger’s Pure Stocks will return to the track on Friday, August 2, for another 25-lap feature.
