SEEKONK, Mass. — Mike Duarte had been consistent all year in the Chaz’s Auto Body Sport Trucks, but as of racing prior to Saturday night at Seekonk Speedway, he hadn’t been to Victory Lane in 2024. That all changed this week for the driver of the No. 50. Duarte rolled the outside and the bottom grooves to the front of the field, then drove away in the final laps to score his first win of the season in the 25-lap main event. Mike Cavallaro raced through the field from outside the top-10 to show some muscle himself and finish second. That is back to back weeks of strong runs for the former champion, who seems to be turning a corner on speed. He was followed to the line by Tim Bolger Jr, who finished third. Dane Saritelli and Rick Martin finished the top-five. Jake Vanada, Amy Arsenault, DJ Thibeault, Ethan Heilborn and Jeff Belyea rounded out the top-10. The Chaz’s Sport Trucks will return to the track on Saturday, August 24, for another 25-lap feature.
