SEEKONK, Mass. — For the first time this season, Dave Darling made a Seekonk Speedway appearance in the Pro Stocks on Saturday night. In the second round of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series, Darling returned to Pro Stock Victory Lane, charging from his ninth-place starting spot right to the front. Darling passed Dylan Estrella on a restart for the lead, and everyone thought he would drive away from there. However, Darling had Estrella hounding the back bumper for many of the final laps. Estrella tried it all, but couldn’t get around. Vinnie Arrenegado snuck by in the final corner to grab second, his fourth in fourth races in his Rookie campaign in the Pro Stocks. Estrella settled for third. Bobby Pelland and Colbey Fournier were next in line, grabbing fourth and fifth. Mike Brightman, Tommy Adams, Kenny Spencer, Mark Jenison and Mike Rotondo finished out the top-10. The Pro Stocks will be back on the track on Saturday, July 13, for another 40-lap feature.
