SEEKONK, Mass. — Charlie Rose used the outside lane to find his way back to Victory Lane on Saturday night at Seekonk Speedway. Driving the No. 91, Rose, who has been consistently at the front all year in the Late Models, wheeled past Connor Souza for the top spot, then drove away to score his first victory of the season. Rose continues to show that he is one of the ones to beat in the Late Models, many years into his career. Jacob “Rowdy” Burns wheeled the outside lane in the final laps to edge Souza out and finish in second. Souza followed in third, after leading many laps. Andrew Gomes and Chase Belcher rounded out the top-five. Mark Jenison finished sixth, followed by Richie Murray, Ryan Souliere, Luke Lebrun and Brittany Campbell. The Late Models will be back on track on Saturday, August 10, for the finale of the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown Series, set for 45 laps.
