SEEKONK, Mass. — There was little doubt that Jacob “Rowdy” Burns was going to be a contender for the Everett’s Auto Parts Triple Crown title on Friday night at Seekonk Speedway. Burns, driving for Nick Lascuola Racing, drove his way to the lead in the 30-lap Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars feature and never looked back. Burns dominated the second half of the race to roll to another win and the Triple Crown title. Josh Parsons, his teammate, followed him second across the line. Richie Helger Jr and Chase Silvia followed in third and fourth, followed by Mason Tessier in fifth. The contenders for the Triple Crown finished the race 1-2-3-4 in the 30-lap feature. Kevin Nowak, Dylan Calabro, Ryan Vanasse Jr., Rodney Dowless and Corey Martin rounded out the top-10. The Nick’s Pit Stop Legends Cars will return to the track on Friday, August 23, for another 25-lap feature.
