SEEKONK, Mass. — For the first time in his career, Peter Bleau was on top Friday night at Seekonk Speedway. Bleau jumped out front quickly in the 25-lap Helger’s South Coast Power Equipment Pure Stock main event and wasn’t to be denied over the final laps. Bleau rolled to his first career win, a major accomplishment for any racer, to carry the checkered flag for the first time. Ethan Souza finished second, with Danny Massa returning to the podium in third. Mike Henriques and Brent Robidoux were behind them in fourth and fifth. Bobby Bettencourt III, Greg Perry, Jared Cordeira, DJ Pires and Josh O’Hara finished the top-10. The Helger’s Pure Stocks will return to the track on Friday, September 6, for the first race of four in the Sunoco Drive For The Cup.
