SEEKONK, Mass. — Dick Benoit finally took the checkered flag at the front of the field. After many years of trying in the Pro Stocks, Benoit was celebrating on Saturday night at the Action Track of the East. His first career Pro Stock win came in dominating fashion, as the driver of the No. 47 rolled to the front right away from pole spot and never looked back. Vinnie Arrenegado was the runner-up - marking yet another second place finish. Arrenegado has now finished in the runner-up spot in every single Pro Stock event this season. He was followed by Dave Darling, who finished third after starting 10th. Mike Brightman and Saturday’s Late Model winner Bobby Pelland rounded out the top-five. Mark Jenison finished sixth, followed by Dylan Estrella, Colbey Fournier, Tommy Adams and Kenny Spencer. The Pro Stocks will be back on track on Saturday, July 20, for another 40-lap feature.
