The Final Four in the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaw field includes the regular season points leader, a driver rolling into it hot and two speedy competitors looking to earn the title.
With victories in the first two Sunoco Drive For The Cup playoff events, Parker Davis leads the charge. Davis has four wins this season, and won the championship in this style format last year in the Bandits. His move up to the Outlaws has shown continued success. It will be tough for anyone to out-run the No. 14, but three others will give it their best shot. Bryson Robidoux led the points at the end of the regular season, entering the playoffs with three bonus points. He used those to his advantage to qualify into the Final Four. Robidoux also has four wins this season, showing consistent speed throughout the year to go along with nine podium finishes. At times, he's looked unbeatable. Brody Wakefield had quite the impressive start to the season, with two wins and podium finishes in the first four events. Since then, he may have cooled off a smidge, but he’s still found himself on the podium often and re-gained the speed late in the season. With two wins on the campaign, Wakefield would love to end his title run with one more victory. And joining those three in the Final Four is Nick Uhrig Jr. No stranger to the Final Four in this championship format in a Bandolero, Uhrig does have experience competing for the title on championship night. After a season filled with ups and downs, he may be considered the darkhorse entering the Outlaw Final Four. But don't even think about counting him out. The Final Four championship event for the Seekonk Grand Prix Bandolero Outlaws will take place on D.A.V. Championship weekend on Friday, September 27. Racing begins at 7 p.m. Tickets are available online at SeekonkSpeedway.com.
